The Alpha Kappa Club will host their annual Home Tour Sunday November 13, 2011 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Five of Fayetteville's and Lincoln County's most beautiful homes will be decorated for the holidays. Advance tickets are $15.00 and $17.00 the day of the tour.

Advance tickets may be purchased at Bagley and Bagley Insurance Company and Carters Drug Store located on the square in Fayetteville or by calling 931-433-2921 or 931-433-7990. Tickets may be purchased on the day of the tour at the Chamber of Commerce or at any of the homes. Advance tickets will go on sale October 7 and are also available from any member ofthe Alpha Kappa Club.

According to Elma Beasley and Margaret Briley Co-Chairs of the event, this year's tour is especially interesting because of community involvement by Mimosa homeowners and the centennial of the Mimosa School which has been lovingly cared for and is now the community center.

Touring an historic home on Main Street in Fayetteville is a special treat where most household furnishings could tell a "story." The Mimosa Road and community tour include a restored historic residence, a manicured setting for an updated farm house, the oldest registered farm in Lincoln County, and a traditional home overlooking lush hills and valleys.

The school will be open as part of the tour.

All proceeds benefit the Alpha Kappa College Scholarship Fund which helps to educate deserving students.
